While other infrared thermometers are available on the market, many do not accurately measure the high temperatures at which our ovens operate. Our infrared thermometer consistently provides accurate temperature measurements between -58°F - 986°F. The thermometer can display its temperature readings in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and it runs on a single 9V battery. This product includes a one-year warranty against manufactured defects.

Overpriced for basic gadget - display broke after 2 years

"I was excited to have an infrared thermometer with such high temperature readings but realized this China made model is different from its peers merely in cost along, carrying a cost close to $80. My display on the screen is chopped up looking and not under warranty for the 2 years I have had it. Save your money and buy one with a lifetime warranty on Amazon."
