      "I've used my new Roma hybrid pizza oven three times now twice for pizza and one time to bake bread. I'm used to using a wood burning pizza oven so this was a new experience and I have to say a very pleasant one. Getting the stove up to temperature in about an hour and having it maintain the temperature while I cooked about 15 pizzas was a joy. None of my guests were able to distinguish the difference between the wood fired and the gas fired pizzas. If I have one suggestion for Fontana it would be to install a thermostatically controlled burner in order to use it for baking breads Etc. It is a little difficult to get the temperature right and to maintain that temperature with just adjusting the flow of gas. All in all it's a great pizza oven and I look forward to trying it with wood in the near future."

      "So glad we chose the Roma. The extra room really makes a difference when regulating heat just by positioning whatever I’m baking or roasting. The gas is very nice, easy to regulate and heats up quickly. Cooks great with wood as well. I was very pleased at how quickly the oven heated up with wood once I figured out what size to split the logs to for an efficient burn. For years we were cooking on a much smaller oven and after getting pretty good at this decided to go all out. These ovens are in a class of their own, there is no comparison. Ordering was easy, shipping was quick and the crate arrived in perfect condition. Customer support is top shelf as well.       How much does the Roma Hybrid weigh, if you take out the stones and components, that are inside, when the oven is shipped. Would 2 men be able to lift it and place it on a countertop?
      Hi Ed! The oven weighs 330lb with everything taken out, so the number of people that it would take to lift it is relative. For safety reasons, we recommend 4 people (one on each corner). If it is being lifted onto a countertop, it is easier to install the feet first, allowing you to have clearance underneath for your hands.

      Yes, the Roma can be permanently fitted to an outdoor kitchen Island. You would just need to make sure that your island is 41" deep as that is the required depth of the Roma and it would need to have the feet installed.
      What color gray is it? Is that slate gray by any chance?
      The gray is more of a matte graphite color.
      Does this run off propane?
      Yes, this oven uses propane but can be converted to natural gas.
