"We are thrilled with our new pizza oven. Fontana has been a great company to work with. Very responsive outstanding quality."
"The oven exceeded all expectations. Gets to temp super fast. Love the saputo stones. Amazing how the oven is a 800 degrees and you can touch the exterior. Makes amazing pizzas. Cook time is blazingly fast. You'll be ready to put your local pizza parlor out of business! Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the set up. The Marinara definitely needs equipment to help get it into position on the cart. Once it's in place. . . you're ready to go."
"If you are serious about making pizza, or good food in general, and you have the space outside, then an oven like this is a necessity. I messed around with an Ooni for a couple years, and they are fine for 1 pizza at a time/small batches of veggies, etc. but my Forni Marinara lets me do 3-4 pizzas at a time, large pans of veggies, multiple dishes at a time. It’s an absolute game changer."
"We bought our oven as an anniversary present to ourselves. What a gift....we make fabulous pizza and focaccia and we are transported to Italy every time. Wish we would have done it sooner."
"I have been wanting an outdoor pizza oven for a long time. I did some research and went with Fontana for two reasons, they made it look easy and fast heat up times. It is easy , very easy, the online videos are great. I’ve already done pizza, chicken, lamb, focaccia, steak, regular bread and even scallops. I highly recommend the accessory kit and the infrared thermometer."
"After researching for many months on all SS Pizza ovens out on the market I went with the Fontana Marinara Pizza Oven with stand for the following reasons. 1. First and fore most the customer service is outstanding! As I live in Upstate NY and have harsh winters (SNOW) I had many concerns about having a pizza oven remain outside year-round! When I spoke with them they answered all my questions and concerns very positively which put me at ease. 2. I wasn't sure on the size of the oven I wanted and after consultation with the team decided to go with the Marinara for the versatility of the oven on how much you can cook at one time. Pizzas, breads etc. 3. The Quality of workmanship of the Oven is first class. The steel shield on the left-hand side sets this oven apart from its competitors. This provides a heat barrier on the outside of that area and allows for heat retention in the oven. 4. The assembly of the stand was easy to construct, but did need 3 extra people to assist lifting the unit onto the base as they state in the video you do need. It weighs about 400lb. I also purchased the Cover which helps for the winter months. I have cooked pizzas twice so far and have turned out great. As you can see from photos! I got the oven temp close to 875oF on the first attempt which made me happy cooking Neapolitan style pizzas. Please watch the videos they have posted on how to start the fire and use correct wood. The drier the better! I love my Marinara Oven Thank you, Fontana Forni."
"I have been using this oven exclusively for pizza and bread making. I could not imagine a better product. I purchased the saputo stones but have also used the standard stones. This oven heats faster and temperature maintains much longer than smaller pizza ovens I have used in past. The oven will remain hot for 6-12 hours after use. I am glad that we decided to go with this oven over larger and heavier brick ovens. It would have been logistic nightmare to have large brick oven delivered and set up. For a large brick oven that would have same functional ability you have to arrange for delivery and fork lift and installation and can never move oven. The Fontana oven is portable it can be placed on a cart (purchased separately) to be moved under canopy or other cover. If you are looking for an oven that gets hot (consistent above 900 degrees) and is light enough to delivery and assemble and move then look no further. I had researched all of the older and new steel wood-fired ovens vs brick ovens the Marinara ended up being the best choice."

"We purchased the 39" Marinara pizza oven November of 2017. Over two years later, it is still the best back yard purchase we've ever made. We thought we'd use it for pizzas on summer nights, but quickly it became our go-to oven to cook everything! If you've never had steaks (perfect black and blue), chicken drumsticks/wings, salmon, veggies, or cobbler cooked in a pizza oven, you are missing out! Invest in good cast iron pans for cooking anything other than pizza; it's a must! After you fail a few times, er, "experiment enough," you'll be a master at cooking in this oven! Just expect a learning curve getting to know her (right amount of wood for temp, right temp of dough, too much/little flour, etc.). The customer service at Fontana is amazing. Whenever we've called with minor things, they've resolved our questions immediately. Don't hesitate - get this oven!"
"Just fired up my oven today to bake my first series of pizzas. I expecting problems with the pizzas since I never done this before. Boy was I surprised. I was easy, it was fast, it was fun and more over the pizzas was perfect. This is the way to cook. Next when my pizza dough is used up is baking bread ( this is my passion) and if that's just half as easy ........ let's just say everybody should have a oven like mine in their back yard. Also thanks to the Fontana crew, they have been great in helping make me make the dream of mine come thru. I can absolutely recommend this oven, it's a must have."
Since 1978, our Italian master craftsmen have held themselves to the most exacting standards of quality construction. They pride themselves on building the most robust, durable oven available. We know that there is no other oven on the market that combines quality, performance, convenience, craftsmanship, & durability the way a Fontana oven does.
Several brands on the market manufacture their ovens overseas using inexperienced laborers that tend to cut costs on materials and construction which results in a less durable & inferior performing product.
Fontana's wood-fired ovens are constructed using 2.5 millimeter 441 (interior) & 304 (exterior) stainless steel, 12 centimeter thick insulation, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated metal. We also utilize solid weld construction when assembling our ovens, this yields a more durable product that will withstand high temperature applications.
Many other brands use lighter, cheaper materials, lower-grade steel, and synthetic insulation, affecting heat retention and durability. Additionally, some other manufacturers will cut costs by using spot weld construction which results in a less durable oven.
