We Love Our New Napoli Pizza Oven!

"We received our beautiful red Napoli hybrid oven, high quality stainless desk & accessories with impressive shipping speed. The Fontana team's amazing attention to detail was seen from the beginning. They promptly answered our questions before and after the sale, so we were confident in our decisions and set-up. The items shipped with care. The support for assembly, professional LNP install, and tutorials for everything imaginable, has made this purchase a pleasant experience. Then comes the pizza production and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. If only every household item were made with this high quality craftsmanship."

5 Stars for the oven and 5 Stars for Customer Service

"Just an amazing product with both quality and style. Several hours to convert from LP to natural gas but with Pete's advice and guidance it heats up quickly and efficiently. After a relatively short learning curve we're making fresh pizza weekly. Thanks for all your help!"

    Il sapore di nostalgia

"My family came here from Italy and one of the traditions that was brought with us was Friday night pizza. My father built our oven and we enjoyed family dinners together for years. This oven is so close to the one my father built us, that I can taste the pizza's of my childhood/."

    Love my Napoli

"I recently purchased the Napoli. I got my first dedicated pizza oven 10 years ago. This is my third, first was a rotating stone Blackstone and then the Pizza Party Bollore. I ordered my Napoli with the Saputo floor, same as my Bollore. Both ovens are approximately the same size. The build quality of the Napoli is much better than the Bollore, with lots of stainless steel and much better insulated, much heavier and should last longer. The Napoli also has a built in sparker which is a nice safety feature. I singed my face and chest when it blew up on me lighting the Bollore. Overall the Napoli is a beautiful oven, well make and performs well. Does it make a better pizza then the Bollore, well no, they both cook well and can churn out great pizzas, depending on your skill level. I also like the dual fuel because LP gas is so easy, quicker and a snap to regulate the temps. The Napoli can easily reach 1000f which is more than enough, actually a little too much heat. All you need to do is dial down the gas control. Ideally, you need about 900f + to cook with the Saputo floor, just stay with it because its going to be done in less than 90 seconds. I have a California Pizza Stone 1" 14x18 that I insert for NY style or slower bakes which allows me to cook at lower temps. You can't do that with the Saputo, the bottom will not be done and the top will burn The oven also comes with the regular stones but its too much of hassle to switch out the floor so i just insert the stone. I had considered the Fontana and the Alfa,. I choose the Fontana primarily because of the Saputo floor. Once you start making Neapolitan pizzas you need those high temps and that is why I have a pizza oven. I have only done a half a dozen bakes so far. Next I am going to try breads, meats. etc."

    Q&A

This is not a question…it’s a review of my pizza oven I bought 5 years ago!!!Nest investment EVER!!! We bought the margarita now Napoli oven and it’s literally member of the family…we have pizza parties all the time and even cook other things!!! Cannot recommend it enough. This family knows how to serve their customers!!! Worth every penny. Period. Now I’m going to go make some pizza dough.
Thank you! we are so glad you are loving it. It's a real game changer for the house.
What are the considerations for the countertop version? What temperature will the outdoor counter it rests on be required to tolerate?
All of our ovens are certified to only need 1 inch of air space from combustibles, so they can be placed on any non-combustible countertop, as long as the feet that come with the oven are installed. Let us know if you have any more questions!
Is this oven made in Italy or China? I'm looking at your ovens on another website (BBQ Guys) and it says these pizza ovens are made in China. Thank you!
Hi Julie! Fontana Forni ovens are designed and 100% made in Italy by skilled artisans using the highest quality materials & most durable construction methods. Thanks for reaching out, and please let us know if you'd like more info on this!
Can you start with gas and heat up oven and start wood with heat from the gas?
We would not recommend doing that.
Can you use wood chips or pellets to give smoke flavor with the gas.
We don't recommend using pellets or wood chips in the oven. When you're cooking at such a high temperature, it will not affect the flavor.
