"I started making homemade pizzas about 6 years ago. My 1st oven was an Ooni and I quickly graduated to a Gozney dome which I had for over 5 years. Gozney actually replaced the 1st dome because the stone cracked and they were not replaceable at the time. I made the decision to upgrade again last month because I wanted something bigger. Not only do I enjoy making my pizza's, I love cooking many meals in the oven and the Dome size was not cutting it anymore. I researched for several weeks and finally landed on the Fontana Firenze dual NG/Wood. I could not be any happier with my decision after the 1st week of using this bad boy!! There were several factors that led me to the Fontana. 1st off, I had to get by the higher price as opposed to Gozney or Alfa. I quickly came to the realization that similar to buying a car, you don't use price to compare a Ferrari (Fontana) to a Ford (Alfa, Gozney). While I really enjoyed my experience with the Gozney and I learned so much, the Fontana is on a different playing field. The Firenze is a joy to look at and even better to cook in. Everything from service you get when you call the 800 number and a SVP might answer the phone. Then he talks to you for an hour about stuff to the solid build of the oven with the perfectly aligned edges screams top notch company, top notch product! To feel even more comfortable, I did a live steam with product specialist Pete who was fantastic! After the live stream, I probably spoke to him 4 more times. The beauty of the experience, ZERO pressure to purchase! They just wanted you to be satisfied prior to execution. My 1st cook sold me! They way the oven lights up, the even heat, the door that seals, the flue to control temp and the size of the door which allows you to do so much. I look forward to firing this baby up everyday and continuing to learn. It's also great to know that if I ever have a question or a suggestion, the Fontana family is there to answer and listen. I didn't just buy an oven, I bought into the Fontana family and that is a great feeling!! If your thinking about it or on the fence, take the leap! You will be so happy you did. Papa Z"

"This is such a great pizza oven! Its large size easily cooks 4 individual pizzas at a time if you can keep them moving through the temp zones. On propane, it takes about 30 min to get to full temp in fall and spring and little longer in winter. Recommend you get a laser thermometer to help with proper temperature control and pizza movement and extra peels to handle all the prep and cooking to keep up the speed."
"What can I say. It’s a great pizza oven. Not only have we cooked pizza in it, but plenty of fish and veggies as well. Pete was easy to talk to, and helpful. You won’t be disappointed if you buy one of these ovens. We bought the large rolling cart and it works great for our needs."
"It took me 6 months to decide to buy the Fontana oven I kept going back and forth between different brands I spoke mostly with Pete at Fontana many times before buying the oven asking all types of questions he was very patient and very informative and not pushy Philip was helpful Also it seems when you call the company with questions you are connected to the same people which is nice Their service is great . These ovens are everything they say they are WELL BUILT WITH QUALITY we have many gatherings mostly pizza but the oven is great for many other dishes I highly recommend the FONTANA PRODUCT"
"I purchased the hybrid this summer and absolutely love my oven! It cooks a napoleon pizza in about 90 seconds, makes some mean flat bread. . . and looks great doing it! I look forward to some experimenting. I will be using it often. Highly recommend!!!"
"I have had a new Fontana for oven for about nine months. The build quality is superb. I think it’s fair to say that I have put my Fontana oven through its paces since first firing it up. I would estimate that I use it 3 to 4 times per week, and often times for things other than pizza. For example, last night I made a frequent dinner of fish fillets seared on a flat top griddle, and then placed in the Fontana for finish roasting at high temp. I estimate using it 3-4 times per week. I’ve roasted vegetables in it, baked paella, roasted chicken, and of course made various styles of pizza. One of my favorite meals is pan seared fish finish roasted in the Fontana at high temp. A few pizza examples attached. Shipping was prompt, it was well packaged, and the documentation is excellent."
"Just produced our first 5 pies and they came out amazing. The fit and finish of this Pizza oven is first-rate. We chose gas vs wood for our first Pizza. While I like having the wood option available, I think using gas made for an easier learning curve for our first pizza, and I did cook a great steak with wood the next day. This oven is the real deal!"

Fontana's hybrid gas & wood ovens are constructed using 2.5 millimeter 441 (interior) & 304 (exterior) stainless steel, 12 centimeter thick insulation, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated metal. Many other brands use lighter, cheaper materials, lower-grade steel, and synthetic insulation, affecting heat retention and durability.
We utilize all continuous solid-weld construction, not the spot welding and screws you’ll find in many other ovens, which can warp & break under duress of high temperatures.
