"We love our Margherita wood fired pizza oven. This is our 3rd one in 11years! We have moved 3 times and a pizza oven is a must."
"I got this to use as a staple in my outdoor kitchen, for a place that my family can use too. I have my family top their pizza as they desire and we cook together. I love the work and the process of keeping the fire going and the art that it takes. I use it to cook cornbread, and sides for holiday cooking. And it works great as a warming oven to my offset smoker. Totally worth the price. Build quality is top tier."
"Received my new pizza oven and had it fired up within two hours. Made my first pizza and it turned out great. By far Exceeding my expectations! I’m extremely satisfied."
"We love our new oven. We went with the red color. The oven arrived as expected (minus the free accessory kit), however, once we got in touch with customer service, they sent it out right away. This oven easily gets to over 800F and retains heat VERY well. It is heavy and will require at least two capable people to lift onto the base."
"Love it, I did my first pizza and turn out really good, thank you!"
"This was a very quick transaction, including shipping. This is a heavy oven, so we used three people to load in my SUV to move it to the final location on a stainless steel table on my patio.Heat retention is very good. We did have 3 loose screws on the bottom that scratched my table during the install, but hoisted it up and got them tightened. I've completed 6 cooks so far and have done pizzas, meats, casseroles and corn on the cob."
"Very nice and good product"
"Since purchasing our Fontana Margherita Wood-Fired Oven back in 2015, it has become our go-to “party night” favorite among family and friends. There’s nothing better than gathering around the oven, after taking turns customizing pizzas, and seeing what beautiful works of art emerge. We can count on our Fontana oven for consistent cooking temperature and performance. We have recommended this oven to countless friends."
"This this the 2nd oven I have purchased. I have one in Maine and in North Carolina where I have access to hardwood to bake bread, roast chickens, roast garden fresh vegetables and an occasional pizza."
"Great experience from ordering to the first firing! Customer service was so friendly and easy to get in touch with. Delivery was super quick. The tutorials on unboxing and setup are so helpful as are the recipe videos! Looking forward to many many years of pizza and cooking in my new Fontana Forni!!"
Since 1978, our Italian master craftsmen have held themselves to the most exacting standards of quality construction. They pride themselves on building the most robust, durable oven available. We know that there is no other oven on the market that combines quality, performance, convenience, craftsmanship, & durability the way a Fontana oven does.
Several brands on the market manufacture their ovens overseas using inexperienced laborers that tend to cut costs on materials and construction which results in a less durable & inferior performing product.
Fontana's wood-fired ovens are constructed using 2.5 millimeter 441 (interior) & 304 (exterior) stainless steel, 12 centimeter thick insulation, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated metal. We also utilize solid weld construction when assembling our ovens, this yields a more durable product that will withstand high temperature applications.
Many other brands use lighter, cheaper materials, lower-grade steel, and synthetic insulation, affecting heat retention and durability. Additionally, some other manufacturers will cut costs by using spot weld construction which results in a less durable oven.
