Friday 8/30

4:00 pm: Driver picks you up at the train station in Florence
Late Afternoon: Piazzale Michelangelo overlooking city of Florence
Evening: Arrive and Dinner



Saturday 8/31

Breakfast: Enjoy a classic Italian breakfast we prepared under the loggia.
Morning Session: 

   Primo: Prepare pasta from scratch, served with porcini mushrooms.
   Secondo: Prepare pork roast and potatoes. 
   Contorno: Prepare Zia Gaby’s delicious fagioli.
   Dolce: Prepare Nonna’s crostata alla marmellata for dessert.

Lunch: Enjoy the delicious meal we prepared
Early Afternoon: Free time (optional excursion)
Late Afternoon Session: 

   Primo: Prepare classic Tuscan Wild Boar for the following day. 

Evening: Leave for the Festa Rinascimentale (Medieval Festival) in Scarperia. 



Sunday 9/1
Breakfast: Enjoy a classic Italian breakfast we prepared under the loggia.

Morning Session:

   Primo: Prepare homemade pasta all’uovo (Fresh Egg Dough) & potato filling for Tortelli di Patate, a speciality of the Mugello.
   Secondo: Prepare sausage grilled on the Pizza e Cucina wood-fired oven.
   Contorno: Prepare Insalata di Pomodori (Fresh Tomato Salad) with fresh basil picked from the garden.
   Dolce: Enjoy Vin Santo with Cantuccini di Prato and fresh seasonal fruit.

Lunch: Enjoy the delicious meal we prepared
Early Afternooon: Free time (optional excursion)
Late Afternoon Session: 

   Primo: Prepare risotto allo Zafferano (Saffron Risotto).
   Secondo: Prepare Pollo alla Birra (Beer Chicken).
   Contorno: Prepare piselli alla Fiorentina (Florentine Peas).
   Dolce: Prepare pears cooked in wine served with gelato. 

Evening: Dinner enjoying the delicious meal we prepared.

Monday 9/2:
Breakfast: Enjoy a classic Italian breakfast we prepared under the loggia

Morning Session:

   Pizza Dough: Make pizza dough for dinner.

Late Morning Session: Leave for Florence to go to the Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio (Outdoor market in Florence where Florentines purchase seasonal ingredients). to gather fresh ingredients for pizza toppings.

Lunch at Trattoria for a true, local Florentine experience.
Early Afternoon: a quick guided tour of Florence with Lorenzo.
Late Afternoon Session: 

   Pizza: Begin preparing toppings and light oven. Make dough balls.
   Antipasto: Assorted Crostini.
   Dolce: Torta della Nonna.

Evening: Farewell pizza night.



Tuesday 9/3

Breakfast: Enjoy a classic Italian breakfast we prepared under the loggia.
10:00 am: Farewell and departure. Airport shuttle provide.
